Welcome to the website of the Shikun & Binui Group, including Shikun & Binui Ltd., Shikun & Binui Energy, and Shikun & Binui Real Estate Ltd. (the “Company” and the “Website,” respectively), which is used for the operation of student dormitories, including but not limited to Einstein Dormitories and Broshim Dormitories (the “Dormitories”) for students of Tel Aviv University (the “University”). Use of the website, its content, and the services offered through it is subject to this Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy” or “Policy”) and the Company’s Terms of Use.
This Policy outlines how the Company collects and uses information about dormitory residents (“User(s),” “Resident(s),” “you,” and/or “your”) who use the website and/or services offered by the Company through the website (the “Services”), including submitting service requests via the resident inquiry system on the website (the “Resident Inquiry System”).
Subject to applicable law, the information may be shared with other Shikun & Binui Group companies and may be transferred between them as required for their operations and the provision of services. Additionally, information may be shared with the dormitory operations company to provide services to residents.
The use of masculine pronouns is for convenience only and applies to all genders. References in this Privacy Policy in the singular form also include the plural.
Collection and processing of information are conducted in accordance with the Privacy Protection Law, 1981 (“Privacy Protection Law”), the Privacy Protection (Information Security) Regulations, 2017, and other applicable laws.

Information collected during dormitory registration
Residents approved by the University may be asked to provide full name, ID number, faculty affiliation, higher education institution details, degree type, permanent address, landline, mobile, work phone, email, parents’ names and phone numbers, and exact dormitory address. Bank account details may also be collected for deposit payment and direct debit setup. Registration may not necessarily occur via the website, but some processes may be conducted online. The website may also display and manage information collected from various sources, including registration forms and interfaces from the Company and/or University. This information is used to provide the dormitory unit, monitor compliance, ensure security and emergency notification, and manage payments. The Resident Inquiry System collects full name, phone, exact location in the dorm (building, floor, room), type of inquiry, additional details, and optional photos or documents. The information is used to respond to service requests.
Security camera footage in the dormitories
Footage is stored in dedicated systems accessible only to relevant Company and/or University personnel. Footage is used for dormitory security, resident safety, law enforcement requests, and protection of legal and legitimate interests.
Information collected for mailing or marketing
Users may opt-in to receive newsletters, marketing materials, or commercial messages by providing email, phone number, and full name. Marketing may also be sent to existing customers or users who have negotiated with the Company regarding its services. Interaction with marketing messages (email opens, link clicks, etc.) may also be recorded. Users may unsubscribe via email (rd@shikunbinui.com) or other means provided. Operational messages may still be sent even after opting out.

With service providers, contractors, or affiliates providing services (e.g., marketing, hosting, servers, customer service, shipping, online platforms, payment processing, development, or support), in accordance with applicable law.
Among Shikun & Binui Group companies as required for operations and services.
With the dormitory operations company as needed for service provision.
With the user’s consent, subject to the third party’s privacy policies.
In business transfers, mergers, reorganizations, or other transactions involving the Company or its subsidiaries, subject to the receiving party using information in accordance with applicable restrictions.
